Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey(lean)
    1 cup uncooked Minute Brown Rice
    1/4 cup diced celery
    1 cup organic low sodium chicken broth
    3 8 oz cans of no salt added tomato sauce(safeway brand)
    1 cup diced tomatoes organic
    1/2 diced 3 mini sweet peppers(optional)

    Season to Taste with ground pepper, garlic powder, minced garlic minced onions and onion powder..or whatever seasoning you prefer


Directions

On high heat bring chicken broth and celery to a boil. Add in brown rice, cover and remove from heat..let stand for 10 minutes.

On Medium heat, cook ground turkey. Season to taste. Cook until done, drain and rinse in cold water to remove excess fat. After draining meat add tomato sauce, rice and additional spices if desired. Bring to a boil;reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 6 1-cup servings
