Ingredients

    Flour, 1 cup
    Butter-flavored crisco, .5 cup
    5 fresh apples, green, cored and sliced
    splenda, 5 tsp
    sugar, 3 tsp
    cinnamon, 1 tbs
    nutmeg, ground, .5 tbs
    marmalade or sugar-free jam, .5 cup

Directions

cut crisco into flour until crumbly, add water by the teaspoon until it forms a doughy texture. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour. press by hand into an 8-inch tart pan, a round cake pan works as well. Spread marmalade onto the bottom of the crust. Core and slice apples thinly and toss with splenda, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then arrange in a fan pattern around the shell, starting with a ring at the edge and working in. Bake at 400 until crust looks browned and apples are browned at the tips, approximately 35 minutes.
