Introduction
This is a yummy shake I can drink! I am a highly allergic person with several additional autoimmune diseases, which means I have cut out all nightshades (even if I didn't test positive for allergies with some of them, though I did for most), no grains (sugar cane, rice, corn, and all wheats), no melons, no algaes, no legumes, no citrus, berries, nothing from the carrot family, or the quinoa family! Ingredients
-
2-3 ice cubes (enough to make the shake's consistency to your liking)
1/2 an avocado
1 tablespoon almond butter, lightly toasted, creamy
1 tablespoon Ghiradelli Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 scoop (30 grams) Reserveage Whey Protein Powder-Chocolate
himalayan salt, to taste
water, enough to make a smooth, drinkable shake
Tips
I use the Ninja Ultima Pro Blender. And for this recipe I use a single-serve carafe to do the blending (as the large carafe isn't necessary).
Directions
Peel avocado, and remove pit. Cut in half.
Put all ingredients in blender, fill to fill line with water. Pulse several times until smooth.
