Introduction

I love cooking with fresh ingredients, but let's face it… sometimes we just need to make something fast. But we still want it to be a healthy, hearty meal. This soup was born out of necessity one day when I needed to make something that would please everyone, and fast! It is a great winter time lunch because its ready in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

    1 bag PictSweet Steamables Seasoned Summer Vegetables (12 oz)
    1 can Progresso Heart Healthy Creamy Tomato Basil Soup (19 oz)
    1 cup water, use more or less water depending on desired thickness of finished soup

Tips

I like to serve mine with Club Cornbread Cracker Bites.

For a thicker soup, omit the water and cook longer over low heat.


Directions

Add ingredients to a sauce pan over medium heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until vegetables are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Serve Warm.

Serving Size: Makes approximately 5 1-cup cup servings.
