Introduction

This is an adaptation of a hotdish that my friend's mother makes. I used 1/2 Lb. of Ground Turkey to make it lower in fat. This is a very low carb recipe. Ingredients

    1/2 Lb. Ground Turkey
    1/4 Onion (Diced)
    1 Clove Garlic

    1 Cup Sauerkraut (drained)
    1 Cup Green Beans (drained)
1 Can Healthy Request Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 Cup Frozen Hashbrown Potatoes
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    French's French Fried Onions

Tips

I made this recipe with 93% lean ground turkey, but it can be made with ground beef or diced corned beef. Those options will, however, change your fat, calorie & or sodium content.

Directions

Brown turkey & onion, adding garlic during the last minute, so as not to burn it. In bowl combine meat/garlic mixture with all other ingredients (except French Fried Onions). Turn into a greased/sprayed dish. Cover & bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Top with French Fried Onions & bake an additional 15 minutes.
