    1-1/4 c warm water (75-85 degrees F)
    1 egg, beaten
    29 g dry milk (1/3 c + 1-2 tsp)
    1/4 c brown sugar, packed
    3/4 tsp salt
    2 c white flour
    2 c wheat flour
    1-1/4 tsp yeast
    2 tsp butter, melted


Place all ingredients, except butter, in pan of bread machine according to manufacturer's directions. Select dough setting. Remove dough at 1 hour remaining (after 30 mins kneading & mixing). When cycle is complete, turn out onto floured surface.

Cut dough in half and roll each half out to a 1" thick circle.Cut each half into 3 1/2" rounds (chopper container bottom is perfect size). Place on greased (or lined w/parchment paper) baking sheet far apart and brush with melted butter (6 per sheet). Cover and let rise until doubled, about one hour.

Bake at 350 for 9 minutes (375 for 10-12 minutes is better) or until golden brown.

Note: Oven temperatures vary so check after 9 minutes to see if done. Some reviewers baked these anywhere from 12 to 30 minutes.
