Ingredients

    2.5 cups unbleached flour
    1.5 t baking powder, preferably aluminum free
    .33 cups organic sugar
    1 stick cold butter
    .66 cups milk


    dried fruit added will add carbs and sugar

    Whisk dry ingredients together, cut in butter, add milk, mix with fork. Knead dough gently until it all comes together. Divide in two and flatten to about 1/2-3/4 inch circle. Using the back of a knife or pastry scraper, make 8 wedge indentations. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and back for 15-20 minutes. Cool on rack, or enjoy warm with more butter ;-)
