Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground chicken
    4 onions, chopped
    2 cups prepared or canned black beans
    3 cups prepared or canned kidney beans
    1 small can tomato sauce
    2 small cans tomato paste
    2 packages chili seasoning
    1 tbsp garlic powder or to taste

Tips

Any veggies you have laying around could be added in addition to the onions if you like.


Directions

Cook ground chicken with onions until cooked through. Add garlic powder. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, adding water (I used my bean water for the healthy benefits) as needed to get the right consistency. Heat through on stove or you can use a slow cooker if you choose. Top with cheese or add to rice or a baked potato (both not accounted for in nutritional information) for a complete meal.
