Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 block of cream cheese
    7 egg whites
    1/8 tsp cream of tartar

Tips

If you are making these to be savory: you can add dry mustard and/or dill (any seasoning really) to the cream cheese. If you want a sweeter roll (maybe for a strawberry shortcake), add a very small amount of stevia to the cream cheese.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Cream the cream cheese. Fold the cream cheese into the egg white mixture.

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Divide the mixture into 12 mounds (6 on each tray) and slightly flatten. Bake for 7 minutes and then rotate the pans. Bake another 7 - 8 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets. Transfer them to a cooling rack and let them cool. Store in a loosely open sack and allow to rest on the counter before using. Can be frozen.
