Introduction

Incredibly flavorful! Awesome as French Dips, or you can stuff peppers, mushrooms or pasta shells. We put these on sourdough hoagies and ladle the remaining juice into cups for dipping. Ingredients

    2.5 lb chuck roast
    1.5 cups of beef broth
    .5 cup of balsamic vinegar
    1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
    1 tbsp Soy Sauce
    1 tbsp Honey
5 cloves of garlic, crushed, minced or pureed
.5 - 1 tsp of red pepper flakes, to preference

    Optional -
Sourdough Hoagies to make french dips
    Peppers for stuffing
    Mushrooms for stuffing
Pasta shells for stuffing (would recommend red sauce if using for this purpose)

Directions

Brown all sides of roast in pan, place in crockpot. Mix all other ingredients in bowl or 2-cup measuring cup, pour over roast. Cook on low for 7.5 hours.

Pull roast out and place on plate, shred with forks. Ladle 1/4 - 1/2 cup over shredded meat and mix to keep moisture.

You can stuff peppers, mushrooms or pasta shells with this stuff, but they also make AWESOME french dips! We put these on sourdough hoagies and ladle the remaining juice into cups for dipping.
