Introduction
A light and flavorful marinade for thick, boneless pork loin chops A light and flavorful marinade for thick, boneless pork loin chopsNumber of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Butter, unsalted
1 tbsp Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1 fl oz Lime Juice
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Mrs Dash Chipotle Southwest seasoning
1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
1 dash of salt
4 Boneless Pork Loin Chops (about 4-5 ounces each)
Tips
Marinade could easily season 6 chops. I use the thick cut pork loin chops, so cooking times on the grill will vary based on the thickness of the chop.
Directions
In a small bowl, melt butter in the microwave withe the olive oil. Add apple sauce, lime juice, garlic, Chipotle seasoning, salt and Smoked Paprika. Stir well until completely blended.
Place shops in a Ziploc bag. Pour about two-thirds of the sauce into the bag. Seal the bag and coat the chops with the sauce. Let the chops sit in the bag, turning every 5 minutes, for 20-30 minutes while your grill heats to medium heat.
Place chops on the grill and cover the grill for 10 minutes. Turn the chops over. Spoon the remaining sauce on the cooked side of the chops, close the grill and cook for another 10 minutes or until done.
I served with grilled bell peppers and onions and my grilled potatoes (see related recipe).
