Tips
Can substitute boneless, skinless chicken breast for pork. Cut chicken into chunks before placing at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Directions
Place ground pork at the bottom of slow cooker.
Add the carrots, onions then the apples (apples must be on top)
Drop in 10 plums (don't go crazy with the plums or the final result will be way too sweet).
Note: if using fresh plums, drop in after 4 hours of cooking to reduce mushiness)
Pour the coconut milk all over the ingredients.
Cook for 8 hours in slow cooker (low temperature).
Salt to taste when stew is almost done, mixing all the ingredients with 2 big wooden spoons.
Serve with a sprinkle of sage.
