Introduction

Ingredients

    5.5 serving Homemade Chicken and Pork Breakfast Sausage
    2 cup Milk, 1%
    0.33 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    28 fl oz Chicken Broth
    2 cup diced Potato, raw
    0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw
    1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" lon Celery, raw
    4 1tsp Olive Oil
    4 ear, small (5-1/2" to 6-1/2" l Sweet Corn, Fresh

Directions

Heat olive oil in dutch oven, cook ground sausage (remove casing if in casing), diced onion and celery and potatoes for about 15 minutes. Add chicken broth, bring to boil and cook until potatoes are tender. Cut corn from cobs and add along with 1/2 cup milk. Heat until boiling, then add remainder of milk that has been whisked with flour. Heat until thick, season with salt and pepper.

Serving Size: Makes 8 cups
