Introduction

If you're like me and just LOVE everything Pumpkin (and have since you were 3 years old and shoving your hands into that fresh baked pumpkin pie 3 days before Thanksgiving), then you'll love this.

Healthy Energy Bites - Pumpkin Pie style! I added chocolate chips just for an extra little sweetness, but they can be taken out. I also used local honeycomb, which is amazing and you should most definitely try it :)

Ingredients

1 cup HyVee Old Fashioned Oats
    0.5 cup Libby's 100% pure canned pumpkin
.5 cup *Flax Seed Meal (ground flax)
1 tbsp Chia Seed (Nutiva) 1 Tbsp
.5 cup *Nestle Mini Chocolate Chips
    1/3 cup Honey
    1 tsp Pumpkin Pie spice

Directions

Throw all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix until combined. Then roll them out into your desired size bites (I got 15 medium-large sized energy bites).

These freeze well, so you can make large batches and throw them into the freezer so you don't have to make them every other day :)
