Introduction

I make these with the Splenda sugar baking blend to cut down on the sugar. No one in my family could tell the difference. I make these with the Splenda sugar baking blend to cut down on the sugar. No one in my family could tell the difference.
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup of Flour
    1 cup of oats/oatmeal
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c+ 2tbsp. Splenda sugar Blend for Baking
    1/4c of Splenda Brown sugar blend
    1/3 cup of butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 large egg
    1/4 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Mix flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Put Splenda Baking blend, Splenda Brown sugar baking blend and butter in large bowl. Beat with mixer until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Slowly add flour to sugar mixture and beat at low speed until blended well. Stir in chocolate chips. If the batter looks too dry, I sometimes have to add about a tbsp. of milk.
Form into balls or drop on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 for 10 mins.
Makes 30 cookies

    I liked the recipe but I added a 1/2 cup of rasins which I really liked and I had to add a little more than a tbsp of milk. - 5/14/08
