Introduction

An old fashioned Southern delight! An old fashioned Southern delight!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 Eggs, Large
    5T Butter, softened
    1C White Sugar
    3T all purpose Flour
    1 cup lowfat Buttermilk
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1T Lemon Juice
    1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    1 crust, single 9" Pie crust, ready-to-bake



Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Sift flour and sugar together and set aside.

3. Beat eggs until frothy, add butter, sugar and flour. Beat until smooth.

4. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, lemon juice and cinnamon, pour into pie shell.

5. Bake 40 to 60 minutes or until center is firm.
