Ingredients

    1.5kg lamb
    oil
    2 onions – chopped
    4 cloves garlic – chopped
    1TBS ginger – grated
    1TBS curry powder
    1tsp salt
    2 TBS lemon juice or white/cider vinegar
    3 tomatoes chopped / 1 tin
    2 fresh chillis/ little chilli paste
    2 TBS mint

    Garam Masala =
    ¼ tsp corriander
    ¼ tsp cumin
    ½ tsp mixed spice

Tips

If cooking on the stove it will take between 60-90 minutes to cook over a low heat. If slow cooking 6-8hrs.


Directions

Fry onion, garlic and ginger until soft and golden. Add the spices, curry powder, salt and vinegar. Chop meat into chunks & add, stirring constantly until the lamb is covered with spice mixure. Add tomatoes, chilli and mint. Cover and cook over low heat for 1 ¼ hours or until the lamb is tender.

Serving Size: Slow cook meal or cook in pot on stove
