1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
1/2 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
1 tsp Pepper, black
1 tsp Cloves, ground
1 tsp Cumin seed
1 tsp Coriander seed
1 tsp Nutmeg, ground
1 tsp Allspice
1 tsp Salt

YOU CAN USE LEFTOVER BAKER OR BOILED SWEET POTATOES
Directions
BOIL SWEET POTATOES UNTIL SOFT. WHILE BOILING MIX ALL THE SPICES, SALT, AND BLACK PEPPER IN A SMALL CONTAINER WITH A LID. (IF USING SEEDS OF THE SPICES, GRIND IN A CLEAN COFFEE GRINDER.) POUR SPICES INTO THE SMALL CONTAINER . DRAIN, PEEL, ANS MASH THE POTATO. MIX IN ONE TABLESPOON OF THE MIXED SPICES. ADD THE EGG AND 1/2 CUP OF FLOUR. HEAT A HEAVY SKILLET (I USE CAST IRON) SPRAY WITH COOKING SPRAY. SPOON THE MIXTURE INTO THE SKILLET COOKING ON ONE SIDE. FLIP PATTY AND FLATTEN WITH SPATULA. COOK UNTIL CRISPY. PLACE ON TREATED COOKIE SHEET AND PLACE IN OVEN ON LOW HEAT UNTIL READY TO SERVE.
