Ingredients

    1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1 1/2 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, calcium-fortified
    3 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
    3 tsp Baking Powder
    1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 dash Salt
    3 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
    1/2 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
    3 tsp Lemon Juice
    3 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    1/3 cup Butter, unsalted

Tips

*The milk is ready when you see evidence of curdling.


Directions

1. Melt the butter.
2. Mix 3 cups of skim milk and lemon juice together and let sit at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
3. Mix dry ingredients together.
4. Mix wet ingredients in with the "butter milk" mixture and stir.
5. Create a well in the dry ingredients. Mix half the wet ingredients in and stir to incorporate.
6. Add the other half. Stir until no lumps remain.
7. Use a 1/4 cup measurements to create the pancakes.
8. Enjoy!
