Introduction

This is a recipe that Mom used to make, way back in the 70's for us kids. This is a recipe that Mom used to make, way back in the 70's for us kids.

Ingredients

    2.28 cup, crushed, sliced, or chunk Pineapple, canned
    1.68 cup Baked beans, plain or vegetarian
    12 oz Hormel SPAM 25% less sodium

Tips

This works well with either beans in tomato sauce, or beans in maple sauce.


Directions

1) Preheat the oven to 350'F
2) Slice the spam into 8 slices.
3) In a medium sized casserole dish, place the Spam standing up, with slices or pineapple between the slices of spam.
4) Spoon the baked beans evenly over the Spam and pineapple.
5) Bake in the preheated oven, for about half an hour, until the beans are hot and bubbly.
