Ingredients

3 cup slices Apples, cooked without skin
6 tsp Domino Light Brown Sugar
.5 cup (not packed) Raisins
3 fl oz Water, tap
3 sheet dough Phyllo Dough
0.33 tsp Cinnamon, ground
.25 tsp Nutmeg, ground
Tips
Any fruit could be substituted. Use your favorite ingredients or what you have on hand
Directions
preheat oven to 375
core, peel and chop apples into approx 1 in. pieces
add raisins, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg
Mix
cook on stove top with water added as needed to prevent sticking
take 3 sheets of phyllo
lightly spray each sheet with oil (or brush with melted butter, but that will change the calorie count), then stack.
cut stack in half, turn half diagonally
arrange apple filling on half of the diamond
fold the other side over and seal the edges
place on baking sheet
bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until crust is golden brown
remove, cool
sprinkle confectioners sugar and cinnamon to tops, if desired
Serving Size: makes 2 large turnovers or 4 mini
