Ingredients

    1 piece, uncooked, Pork Spareribs
    1 tsp Salt
    .25 tsp Pepper, black
    2 cup Ocean Spray Diet Cranberry Pomagranite juice (by AMYK96)
    1 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    3.5 cup Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
    2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh
    1 large Onions, raw
    3 clove Garlic
    2 serving Bay leaves dried (serving size 1 leave) (by BMAKEDA)

Tips

Like to crock pot? Put the spareribs in your crock pot. Pour the other ingredients on top. Shake pot and cook on high 6 hours or on low for 10 hours.


Directions

Take 1 slab of uncooked spare ribs, approx. 2 1/2 lb and trim off extra fat. Season ribs with salt and pepper and cut into sections of 2-3 ribs. Wash and quarter mushrooms. Peel and cut onion in half and them slice. Peel and slice 3 large garlic cloves or 6 small ones. Put spare ribs in a large pot that has a lid. Pour 16 oz can of diced tomatoes on top of ribs. Add mushrooms, garlic, 2 bay leaves and onion to pot. Add the cranberry pomegranate juice and water to pot. Shake pot to redistribute the vegetables and liquid. Boil ribs on high about 10-15 minutes. Shake pot again to redistribute veggies and liquid. Cover pot and reduce head to medium. Cook 1 hour. Turn ribs over and cook uncovered 10-15 more minutes.
