Ingredients

1 serving *Designer Whey Protein powder, French Vanilla (by CLIMBNRUN)
8 fl oz Regular Coffee, brewed from grounds
.5 cup Great Value Greek Plain Nonfat yogurt 1cup/227g=1 serv
8 oz Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla
1 small (6" to 6-7/8" long) Banana, fresh

Tips

You can freeze coffee and yogurt ahead of time and store in separate freezer bags. This eliminates the need to add ice cubes, which can water down your smoothie.

Make sure you brew strong coffee. Weaker coffee can lose its flavor when combined with other ingredients.

If you can't find French Vanilla protein powder, use regular vanilla and add a teaspoon on pure vanilla extract. This will not change the counts in the recipe at all.

Directions

Pre-prep: Brew some extra strong coffee. Let cool. Pour into container (an ice cube tray works great) and freeze.

Cut a small banana into slices. Place on a tray and freeze. Store in a plastic bag in freezer.

Line tray with parchment paper. Measure half-cup servings of plain Greek yogurt and place onto parchment paper. (I usually put 4-6 on a tray) and freeze. After they freeze, store in plastic freezer bag.

To make smoothie:
Combine 8 oz. frozen coffee, 1 half-cup serving of plain Greek yogurt, 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and 1 scoop French Vanilla protein powder in blender.

Blend until combined. Add no-calorie sweetener to taste. Blend until smoothie. Add more sweetener if necessary.
