1 tsp Orange zest
.25 cup Orange juice, fresh
4 serving Apple-Granny Smith Green (Medium)
1 cup Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
3 tsp Truvia Baking Blend Natural Sweetener with Sugar - serving size 1/2 tsp (2g)
.25 tsp Cinnamon, ground
2 tbsp Blue Bonnet Margarine
.25 cup Great Value Crisp Rice Cereal (by JANUAREEGIRL)
2 oz (20 halves) Pecans
Tips
The original recipe called for 1 cup Splenda for apples & 2 tbls Splenda in topping.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8 inch square baking pan with vegetable cooking spray. Set aside.
Make Filling: whisk together 16 tsp truvia, 1 tsp cinnamon, orange zest & orange juice in a large bowl; add apples and toss. Transfer mixture to prepared pan, set aside.
Make Topping: stir together oats, 3 tsp truvia, & 1/4 tsp cinnamon in a medium bowl; cut in margarine with pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in cereal and pecans. Spoon over apples.
Bake 45 minutes or until topping is lightly browned. Serve warm.
