Introduction

Icy watermelon treat, similiar to slushy or shaved iced. Great for summer! Icy watermelon treat, similiar to slushy or shaved iced. Great for summer!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    5 cups diced & seeded watermelon
    1/2 cup, plus 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp lime juice

Directions

Put watermelon in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour into mixing bowl. Add sugar and lime juice. Stir with wooden spoon until sugar is completly dissolved. Transfer mixture to freezer. After 30 minutes, scrap sides of bowl with fork and stir mixture. Place back into freeze, and repeat every 30 minutes, for about 4 hours, or until desired consistancy is achieved. Makes 8 1/2-cup servings.
