Introduction

Ingredients

    3c water (or veggie broth for additional calories)
    3/4 C lentils, uncooked
    1/2 C brown rice, uncooked
    1 onion, chopped
    1 T dry basil
    1 T oregano
    1 t thyme
    1 t garlic powder
    1 T vegetable seasoning spice
    1 T salt
    1/2 C grated cheese (or plain yogurt cheese is in this nutrition info)

Directions

Combine all ingredients except cheese (or yogurt) in a casserole dish. Cover dish with foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 2.5 hours. Remove from heat and top with cheese or yogurt before serving.
