Ingredients

    3 medium carrots
    1.5 Tbsp margarine
    1.5 Tbsp brown sugar

Directions

Cook carrots covered in small amounts of boiling water about 6-10 minutes or until tender. Drain.
In a skillet melt margarine and add brown sugar. Stir until melted. Add the cooked carrots and cook slowly, stirring until the carrots are well glazed. Season.

    Yes! I have been looking through the recipes to find the one I make. most have far too much brown sugar for my tastes. I don't cook the carrots in water first, I cut them into sticks (about 12 per large carrot) and put them with the marge and sugar on low heat, covered, for about 15 mins. - 11/11/08

    I made this the same way as Kukanna and added a little cinnamon and they were great! I doubled the recipe and got about 1 1/2 cups of carrots for my family of 3 though so I am glad I doubled it! I think we will cut back on the brown sugar a little more next time too. - 1/5/10
