Introduction

I used the Daily Chef brand complete buttermilk pancake mix. I am sure most brands would be the same. Also, this is making 18 biscuits so if you make them larger or smaller you will need to adjust the numbers. I used the Daily Chef brand complete buttermilk pancake mix. Ingredients

    1/4 cup Butter, salted
1 small Egg, fresh, whole, raw
3 cups Daily Chef Complete Buttermilk Pancake Mix
1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap

Tips

You can play with this recipe. You can add cheese, garlic, etc. to make them for various occasions.

Directions

Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir with a spoon or spatula. Dump onto a floured (I used pancake mix but you can use flour if you like.) Work dough adding flour as needed until it is the right texture for rolling or patting out. Roll or pat to about 1/2" thickness based on your liking. Bake at 450 until golden brown. It helps to brush top with milk or butter.

The ingredients themselves are good bc the biscuits have good flavor BUT I think 450 is way too high, and dries them out ... If baking at 450, NO MORE THAN 10 minutes...check at 7... I really wish a time was posted in the recipe. I mean we all just can’t stand there staring at our oven waiting lo - 4/19/19
