Introduction
Recipe derived from great depression staple back in the 1930s. Not too sweet and almost like a sweet bread that would taste fantastic with honey on top. Ingredients

4.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
0.5 cup Butter, salted
1.0 cup Milk, 3.25%
2.0 cup Granulated Sugar
2.0 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
2.0 tsp Baking Soda
1.0 tsp Salt
2.0 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions
Melt butter, vanilla and milk together on stove top for 10 minutes on low. In a bowl, use electric mixer to fluff eggs and sugar together. After enough air has been mixed, sift in dry ingredients and mix together with a spoon. Pour in liquid butter and milk mix, continue to mix liquid batter with a spoon. In batches, use electric mixer to completely mix together all ingredients. Pour into rectangular baking pan and cook for 45-60 minutes in the oven. Cut into rectangles and enjoy!
