Number of Servings: 57

Ingredients

    130 grams Almonds (Grated)
    100 grams Oat Bran
310 grams Brown Sugar (Dark brown sugar is best)
    140 grams Butter, salted
2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    2 tsp Baking Powder
1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract (Or Vanilla powder)
6 tbsp Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips
175 grams Peanut Butter, chunk style
12 tbsp Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts (Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds)
    50 gram(s) Bob's Red Mill - Chia seeds - 1Tbsp=13g
5 cup Whole Wheat Flour (Do half whole wheat flour and white plain if you prefer)

Tips

Depending on the ingredients, preparation time can vary. For example I use whole bar of dark chocolate which I have to grate into chips, same goes with the almonds. The weighing of dough into 30 grams balls is another time consumer. Instead of the brown sugar, I use Molasses at times for more nutrition oomph, vegetable margarine instead of butter.

Directions

Mix brown sugar and butter together
- Add the eggs and mix until fluffy.
- add the flour, baking powder, hemp, grated almonds, vanilla extract, chocolate, Chia and peanut butter and mix. Keep dough in a cool place place or refrigerator for an hour.
- Make small balls of 30 grams each and place on baking tray and bake at 175 degrees for 16mins or until they look a little brown.
- Let cookies cool for another 15mins.
- Store in air-tight jar (preferably in the refrigerator.
