Ingredients

    1.5 lb Beef chuck, arm pot roast
    1.0 cup Barley, pearled, raw
    1.0 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw
    3.0 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    4.0 medium Carrots, raw
    6.0 cup Beef Broth - Swanson Low Sodium
    2.0 Tbsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce
    2.0 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh
    1.0 tsp Thyme, ground
    0.25 cup Tomato Paste
    1.0 bay leaf

Directions

Trim beef cut into 1inch peices Add all ingredients to crockpot Cook 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low Near the end of cook time you may want to add a little water if gets too thick
