Introduction

Super moist cake. You'll fool everybody! Super moist cake. You'll fool everybody!
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    Any chocolate cake mix
    Unsweetened applesauce
    Egg beaters.
    For the frosting:
    1 tub of cool whip
    Chocolate pudding mix
    1 cup of milk.
I used nonfat milk and regular fat whip cream, you can use fat free or something to the like. Also you might cut your square of cake bigger which might up the calorie content.

Directions

Follow the directions on the cake box. Subsitute the oil for apple sauce. ex 1/2 cup oil = 1/2 cup apple sauce. You'll want to reduce the water amount by approx 1/4 cup. Pending on how much water it says to add. Then add eggs or egg beaters (if it says 3 eggs follow the conversion on the carton of egg beaters, I think its 1/4 cup= 1 large egg.
Mix together for about 2 mins.
Following the heating temp on box.
You'll want to check your cake a few minutes before to make sure it is not TOO cooked.
To make the frosting, mix the milk and instant pudding in a bowl. Then fold in the whipped cream, careful not to beat the air out of it. Frost when cake is completely cool. Cake needs to be refridgerated b/c of the dairy topping.

My cake cut into 20 squares. Pending on your pan size you may have more or less. Or how big you want to cut your cake. Its a great light summer dessert!
