    1lb ground beef
    .5 cp chopped onion
    .5 cp chopped bell pepper
    2 cans diced toatoes
    1 lb elbow macaroni
    2 tbsp canola oil
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder


Boil macaroni according to package directions.
While that is cooking saute onions and bell peppers in canola oil. Add ground beef and brown. Drain macaroni and combine with beef. Add all remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Serve immediately.

    I added a little cayenne pepper instead of black pepper and a tsp of nutmeg. I also used 2 cloves of garlic instead of powder. It was delicious! My kids even had seconds! Thanks! - 4/20/08
