Ingredients
-
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
6 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
1.5 cup Granulated Sugar
1.5 cup Flour, white
1 cup, unsifted Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Almond Extract (by CRANKYGIRL)
.19 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
1 tbsp melted Butter, unsalted
Tips
So good with Berries, I like to use a quart of strawberries that I mush up a bit, and then spread over top.
Directions
CAKE--
preheat oven to 350, spray bundt pan with pam
mix together eggs and sugar and vanilla on med for 2 minutes
then add flour and mix on med for 8 minutes **this is a must
pour into pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean--it is a spongey cake
let cool for 15 minutes, then put a plate on the top of the pan, and flip over onto plate, allow to cool completely
Glaze--
combine butter, almond extract, and powdered sugar, then add milk--if it's too light of a glaze add sugar, to thick add milk
-once you have to desired consistency, drizzle onto cooled cake
Enjoy!!!
