Ingredients

1 Beef kielbasa, sliced into medium slices (between 1/4 and 1/2 an inch thick)
    1 Can fire roasted tomatoes
    1 Can chicken broth
1/2 small head of cabbage, sliced thin then chopped up
    4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    1/2-1 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper (or to taste)
    1 TBS cooking oil
1&1/4 to 1&1/2 cups dry wide egg noodles

Tips

Don't cook the noodles beforehand. They need to go into the pot dry. This is really good with cornbread.

Directions

Saute keilbasa and garlic in the oil for a few minutes on the saute setting. Add about 1/4 cup of the chicken broth to the pan to deglaze a little.Add in the cabbage, a little at a time, stirring to wet it with the liquid in the pan. Add in a little more broth as you go and give things time to start simmering. Add in the rest of the cabbage, the rest of the broth, the tomatoes and the noodles. Give it all one last, gentle stir to make sure everything is distributed. Close the lid and set for pressure cook on high for 25 minutes. NPR for about 10 minutes then quick release.

    Very Good
The flavor of this dish was very good! But 25 minutes on high pressure was way too long. The cabbage and noodles were both super mushy. Next time I will try about half as long. I also chopped up an onion and sauteed it with the garlic and kielbasa. - 7/30/19
