In your pre-BLE days, did any of you ever make "Strata"? Layers of bread and cheese baked with eggs and milk? Here is a BLE version!

Ingredients

1 slice Ezekiel 4:9 7 Sprouted Grains Bread, cubed
1 oz Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
2 fl oz Half and Half Cream (1/4 cup)
2 tbsp water (1 fl oz)
Tips
BLE portions:
1 slice Ezekiel Bread = 1 breakfast grain
1 egg + 1 oz cheese = 1 protein
1/4 cup (2 oz) half and half (light cream) = 1 fat (if you don't do fat at breakfast, take it from your lunch allowance.)
Serve "Overnight Ezekiel Strata" with a serving of fruit.
Directions
*Start the night before.
*Spray an individual ramekin with non stick spray.
*Put 1 slice Ezekiel bread, cubed in the bottom.
*Cover with 1 oz grated cheese
*Beat together 1 egg and 1/4 cup half and half and 2tblsp water and pour over bread and cheese.
*Refrigerate overnight
*Next morning bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. (Sorry, I didn't check the time for sure.) Center will puff up a little when done.
