Ingredients

2.0 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
32.0 oz Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
    2.0 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    2.0 clove Garlic
    8.0 tsp chili powder
    0.5 tsp Garlic powder
    0.5 tsp Onion powder
    0.5 tsp Oregano, ground
    1.0 tsp Paprika
    3.0 tsp Ground cumin
    2.0 tsp Salt
    28.0 oz crushed tomatoe

Directions

1. Warm the olive oil in a large Skillet on medium-high heat. Once the oil is warm add the ground meat and begin breaking up the meat into smaller pieces to cook faster. 2. Once the meat is no longer pink add the onions and garlic. Stir the vegetables into the meat mixture well. 3. Add the taco seasonings chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, cumin and salt. Store well to mix the spices and vegetables together. Start in the crushed tomatoes. 4. Cover pan with a fitted lid and reduce heat down to a medium low heat. But the meat and veggies cook for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook longer if you prefer softer veggies and for a shorter amount of time if you like your veggies with more bite. 5. Uncover the pan and sprinkle shredded or grated cheese over the top of the meat. Cover the pan one more time with the lid for another 2 to 3 minutes to let the cheese melt. 6.sprinkle green onions and cilantro over the top of the melted cheese and serve.
