Introduction
A great tasting meal in a glass A great tasting meal in a glassNumber of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
1 serving Protein Powder (whey), vanilla cream (Pure Protein) (by MRSILONA)
1 cup Baby Spinach - Fresh Express (bagged)
8 oz Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla
.5 cup GREAT VALUE Berry Medley (frozen Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and red raspberries)
.5 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Banana, fresh (I like to slice it up and freeze it first)
Tips
Always use frozen berries but you can add ice if you want a little more volume and thickness. Frozen Bananas also help.
Greek yogurt can also be added for more volume and texture. I tried to keep this dairy free and gluten free.
You can add other greens if you like. I tried cucumbers but it overpowered the taste. Whole thing tasted like cucumbers. Not a bad thing just not what I was looking for.
Directions
In a blender put in spinach, pack it in. Add rest of the ingredients. pulse to get all the ingredients mixed, then blend for 5 minutes or until the spinach is too small to see.
You can add greek yogurt for added texture and nutrition. It will come out very thick. Put it in the freezer if you want it more like ice cream.
Serving Size: makes 2 very thick 16 oz mugs
