Introduction

Ingredients

    1/3 cup Butter, unsalted
    1/2 cup Flour, white
    1 quart Pacific Natural Foods Beef Broth (or any beef broth you like)
    1/2 cup Half and Half Cream
    1 tbsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce
    1/4 cup Sour Cream (optional)
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan. Whisk in flour cook until golden (about 2 minutes). Then gradually sir in the beef broth. Add the Worcestershire & half and half. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and whisk in the sour cream (if using) and salt and pepper.

Serving Size: Makes a little over 1 quart. Serving size is 1/3 cup
