Soften butter to room temp. Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Blend softened butter in large bowl with mixer until smooth. Ingredients

    1.0 cup Butter, salted
    1.0 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    0.5 cup Corn Starch
    0.5 cup, unsifted Powdered Sugar
    1.0 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with fork. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely on a wire rack. Store in tightly covered container.
