Ingredients

    8 oz Barilla whole wheat spaghetti
    1 fruit without skin and seeds Avocados, California (Haas)
    2 tbsp Basil
    1 clove Garlic
    1 serving Lemon juice - of half lemon, 1 Tablspoon (Atkins)
    1 tbsp Olive Oil
    0.25 tsp Salt
    1 cup Tomatoes - sm cherry tomatoes

Directions

1. Cook the pasta as directed on the package. 2. While the pasta is cooking, add the avocado, basil, garlic clove, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt to a food processor. Alternatively, you can chop finely and mix by hand. Blend until a smooth, creamy sauce forms. 3. Drain the pasta throroughly and transfer to a large glass or ceramic bowl. Add the tomatoes now if you're using them. 4. Pour on the avocado basil sauce and stir until well combined. Enjoy! Serving Size: Makes 8 servings
