Introduction

Tuna Pie???? Yuck!. You say? You have to try this, it's surprisingly, very tasty. Tuna Pie???? Yuck!. You say? You have to try this, it's surprisingly, very tasty.

Ingredients

    Cooking spray
    4 Bell Peppers
    2 Large Onions
    1 Large Tomato (peeled)*
    1/2 cup tomato sauce
    4 cans of Chunk Light Tuna (in water)
    4 Eggs ( Hard boiled)
    garlic powder
    oregano
    salt
    pepper
    2 Frozen Pies crust shells

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375. Cover edges of 1 pie crust, and brown bottom slightly.
2. Slice peppers and onions into rings, and then in 1/2 (you should now have 1/2 rings).
3. Generously spray pan w/ cooking spray. Saute' until medium cooked.
4. Add tomato, tuna & spices (to taste). Cook for 15 minutes.
5. Pour mix in to brown pie shell. Slice eggs and place on top and cover with other pie shell (try to seal edges).
6. Cook 20-25 minutes or until golden.

* To peel tomato - bring a small saucepan of water to a rolling boil. Drop tomato in for about 30 seconds and spoon out. Then it peels easily with a paring knife.
