Tips
This makes a large batch of soup but I divide it up into 4 cup servings(per quart jar) for my diet. Each jar is two serving with only 90 calories in each serving. I freese it in the fruit jars. Just make sure you leave a couple of inches of freezing space at top of each jar. This batch should make 7 quarts or 14 servings
each jar is 2 servings
Directions
Cut up the cabbage and dice up the rest of the fresh vegetables and put in large stockpot. Barely cover with water and cook on medium heat. When vegies are tender, add the drained green beans, stewed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, and beef flavor "Better than Boullion". I seasoned with 1 tablespoon dried basil, 1/2 tsp Lawry's seasoned salt, 1/4 tsp Nature"s Seasons Seasoning salt and 1/4 tsp Mccormick's "Himalayan Pink Salt Black pepper. Like all great soups--let it simmer on the stovetop awhile. I divided this up into 7 quart jars. I get 2 -2 cup serving per jar with just 90 calories per serving.
