1 cup Cherries (Bing, dark, red) (by 1CUBBY1)

Directions

[Note: Actual measurements for some ingredients were not offered as choices on the recipe menu, so I used the closest alternative measurements in the ingredients list. This description reflects the actual portions I used.]
Jello:
Dissolve two 3-ounce boxes of cherry jello (or one 6-ounce family size box) in 2 cups of boiling water in a 9”x9" dish. Stir in 1/2 cup of cold water. Add one 8-ounce can of pineapple (including juice) and one 8-ounce can of bing cherries, halved and drained. Chill until set.
Cream cheese topping:
Mix 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and 1/2 tsp. grated onion in a bowl. Gradually add enough milk (about 1/4 -1/3 cup) to make a spreadable texture (like icing). Add chopped pecans. Mix well. Spread over the top of the jello. Chill for at least one hour before serving. Cut into 3”x3” squares and serve on a lettuce leaf.

Serving Size: Makes nine 3”x3” servings
