Introduction

Easy and very good! This makes 10 fritters, I had to eat one before taking the picture!
*Also, I am estimating the oil absorbed into each fritter.

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 apples ( cut into small pieces should make 2 C)
    1 cup Flour - all purpose flour
    .5 tsp Cinnamon
    .5 tsp Salt
    2 tsp Lemon Juice 'Real Lemon' 100% juice
    2 T Granulated Sugar
    2 large Egg, room temp
    .25 cup Milk, 1%
    15 tbsp Canola Oil (estimated this is what is absorbed in total to all 10 fritters)

    Icing:
    1 cup, unsifted Powdered Sugar
    1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    1 tsp vanilla



    1.0 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    2 tsp Baking Powder
    .5 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    .5 tsp Salt
    2 tsp Lemon Juice 'Real Lemon' 100% juice
    2 serving Granny smith apple - 1 med. apple
    2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    18 tbsp Canola Oil
    1 cup, unsifted Powdered Sugar
    1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    .5 tsp Vanilla Extract
    .06 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap

Directions

Fill electric skillet half way full of canola oil and heat until 375 degrees.
Cut apples into bit size pieces, toss with the lemon juice, set aside
Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl
Beat the two eggs with the sugar then add the flour mixture, mix well. Then fold in the apples.
Once oil is hot, drop by .25 C full into the oil and fry 3-4 min on one side until golden and crispy , flip.
Mix icing ingredients together and then drizzle across each.


Serving Size: Makes 10 servings using .24 cup batter
