Introduction

This is a very easy to follow simple recipe that I acquired when I sold Tupperware. I completely cook it in the microwave but I'm sure that you can do it in a regular oven, I just don't know the times. Ingredients

    2 lbs. Ground Beef (extra lean)
    Large jar (45oz) Prego 100% Natural Fresh Mushroom Italian Sauce
    24 oz. Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk
    24 oz. Praire Farms 4% Cottage Cheese (by DUANEHUNTER1)
    8 Lasagna Noodles

Directions

Brown ground beef draining all fat and liquid off. I use my microwave cooker set with colander in the microwave as it drips off fat while cooking. Microwave on high in 2-3 minute increments, crumbling and draining between cook times. Total cook time is 8-10 minutes. Mix spaghetti sauce with ground beef. In 9X13 casserole pan, place 1/3 of meat sauce on bottom (do not have to go completely to ends as lasagna noodles aren't long enough to reach). Place 4 lasagna noodles on top of meat sauce. Follow with 12 oz. mozzarella and 12 oz. cottage chesses. Repeat then top off with remaining meat sauce. Cover and cook in microwave for 30 minutes (if your pan doesn't rotate while cooking, turn 1/2 way through). When finished cooking, let sit for 5-10 minutes in microwave. Carefully remove lid away from you so that steam doesn't burn you. Top with parmesan cheese, if desired.
