This delicious vegan brownie is so yummy and chocolatey they will cure any chocolate attact you may have in an instant, If they look sticky to you, they're suppose to be that way. Ingredients

    10 oz. Applesauce, unsweetened
    8 0z. Cocoa Powder, unmelted, or vegan Baking chocolate, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 cups sugar
    1 Banana
    1 1/3 cup Whole wheat flour
    2 cups vegan semi sweet chocolate

Directions

Beat the above with a fork until smooth. Pour into a square 8"x8" pan for traditional square brownies. I improvised with an 8" pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 minutes.

    These turned out so yummy. They were very thick. I made a few changes though. I used only 1 cup of sugar and 3/4 cup honey (which I know some people don't consider vegan). I added 1 tsp of baking soda to make it rise a little better I also cooked it for about 45 minutes. - 1/25/09
