Introduction

Did my best to try and get a sample of what the calories would be. Did my best to try and get a sample of what the calories would be.
Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    40 fillets of crappie
    3 eggs
    1 package of saltine crackers
    Lawrey's Seasoning salt
    water

Directions

Prep time does not include catching and cleaning fish. The five minute cook time is based off of hot oil and is per batch.

Take and crush crackers and add seasoning salt to your liking. Crack egg in bowl and whip. Add water to get a thinner coating. Take fillets and coat in egg mixture. Then take and coat them with saltine cracker mix. Deep fry until golden brown.

I assumed that 3/4 cup of oil got absorbed into the fish when frying. This number maybe high.

I also assumed that one serving is 2 fillets.

    Incredible!
    I had this for dinner tonight and it was delicious. Used all the listed ingredients but adjusted the portions as I only had 6 filets. Will definitely make this again. - 8/3/12
