Savory and delicious, no one even knows they're eating brown rice! Savory and delicious, no one even knows they're eating brown rice!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1c rice, brown, uncooked
    1/3c onion, chopped
    2T butter
    1 chicken boullion cube
    2c hot water
    1/2c salsa

Directions

In skillet saute rice and onion in butter until rice is slightly brown(er).

Add boullion cube, gradually add hot water and salsa, stirring until just mixed. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
