Introduction

I'm a meat and potatoes lover but for a change I go for seafood and pasta. I like to serve this dish with a big green salad and fruit for dessert. If you wanted, you could sub scallops, crab, lobster, mussels...any kind of seafood for the shrimp. Any kind of pasta works, too. Ingredients

4 oz. pasta (spaghetti, linguini, whatever you like or have on hand)
4 oz. frozen, cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, thawed
    2 tbs. thai chilli sauce
    1 clove garlic
1/4 c. chopped sweet red pepper
    1/4 c. white wine
    2 tsp. olive oil
    1/2 Tbs. butter
    Salt to taste

Directions

Boil water for pasta. After water boils, add pasta and cook according to package directions. While the pasta cooks, put olive oil into saute pan, heat. Mince garlic, and add the garlic and chopped red pepper to the olive oil, cook 2 min. until crisp-tender. Reduce the heat and add white wine, Thai chili sauce, shrimp, and mix. Remove from heat. Just as the pasta is almost done, heat your sauce again and add the butter to finish it and smooth out the flavors. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, toss to coat. Add salt to taste, if you like. Makes 2 servings.
